Class Attire Guide

---

Required Uniform:

• Pink skirted leotard, purchased through DDC. 
• Pink Tights
• Pink Ballet shoes, Tan Tap shoes (if enrolled in tap)
• Hair pulled away from face.

Required Uniform:

• Purple skirted leotard, purchased through DDC. 
• Skin-Tone Tights
• Pink Ballet shoes, Tan Tap shoes, Tan Jazz Shoes (for hiphop and jazz)
• Hair pulled away from face.

Required Uniform:

• Any color leotard.
• Skin-tone or Pink tights
• Split-sole, pink ballet shoes. 
• Hair in a bun secured with bobby pins and a hairnet. 
• Ballet skirt, or form fitting ballet sweater if needed. 

Required Uniform:

• Form-fitting dance wear. 
• Leotard and tights are recommended but not required. 
• No baggy clothing
• Hair should be neatly pulled into a ponytail. 
• Shoes:

Black slip on jazz shoes for jazz.

Black lace up tap shoes for tap.

Tan slip on jazz shoes for lyrical.

Barefoot for CM.

Required Uniform:

• Relaxed athletic wear.
• All white or black and white sneakers.
• Note: dancers will need a pair of shoes specifically for hip hop class. No outside shoes are allowed in the studio. 
• Hair pulled away from the face.

Ballet:

• Pre and Combo level: full-sole pink ballet shoes.
• Elem and higher: split-sole pink ballet shoes.

Jazz:

• Combo level: tan jazz shoes
• Elem and higher: black jazz shoes

Tap:

• Combo Level: tan tap shoes
• Elem and higher: black lace up tap shoes

Hip Hop:

• Combo level: tan jazz shoes
• Elem and higher: Any black and white sneakers

We can size and order most shoes at the studio. Dancers can also visit a dance wear store, and a lot of shoes are available on Amazon as well. 

We recommend purchasing shoes in the following brands:

Capezio, Bloch, So Danca

Let us know if you need help finding appropriate shoes!

It is very important for dancers to come to class with their hair neatly pulled back. For ballet classes, hair MUST be pulled into a bun using bobby pins and a hairnet.
