Dauphin Dance Company

This student performance company is for committed dancers who wish to further their dance experience beyond just the annual recital performance. The Dauphin Dance Company is led by our director, Anna Dauphin, and will allow each student additional dance training, performance opportunities, and a nurturing team-building experience. 

Company dancers will be expected to attend classes and/or rehearsals 2-4 times a week depending on level. Returning company members will be required to complete one summer dance credit. 

(One week of any camp or 5 drop-in classes)

All Company Members will participate in:

• The annual Winter Showcase in December.
• A Spring Showcase performance held in March or April.
• Community events and festivals, by availability.
• Highlighted group, solo, and small group numbers in the Spring Recital.

Company Requirements: 

• Ages 8+
• Junior Company dancers are required to be enrolled in weekly Ballet and Jazz. 
• Intermediate and Senior Company dancers are required to be enrolled in weekly Ballet, Jazz, and Contemporary.
• All dancers will attend a company audition to find their level placement. 
• At least one additional class style is strongly recommended (Contemporary, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Pointe) company dancers will be asked to perform in a variety of styles.
• Attend weekly company rehearsals in addition to required classes. Excellent attendance is required. Rehearsals include additional technique training and learning choreography for performances. 
• Additional weekend rehearsals will be held as needed, usually on Sundays.

Each company dancer will pay a fee of $125/month. This fee covers all company rehearsals, costumes, performances, and events for the year. The fee will be added to monthly tuition.
