Dauphin Dance Company

This student company is for committed dancers who wish to further their dance experience beyond just the annual recital performance. The Dauphin Dance Company will be led by our director, Anna Dauphin, and will allow each student additional dance training, performance opportunities, and a nurturing team-building experience. 

• The annual Winter Showcase in December.
• A Spring Showcase performance held in March or April.
• Community events and festivals, by availability.
• Highlighted group, solo, and small group numbers in the Spring Recital.

• Ages 8+
• Dancers are required to be enrolled in weekly Ballet and Jazz.
• At least one additional class style is recommended (Contemporary, Tap, Lyrical, Hip Hop) - company dancers will be asked to perform in a variety of styles.
• Attend weekly company rehearsals:

Junior Company (Elementary Level and Level 1) Tuesdays at 6:30-7:30pm

Intermediate Company (Level 2 and Level 3) Tuesdays at 5:30-6:30pm

Senior Company (Level 4) Thursdays at 7:15-8:30pm

Company rehearsals will include additional technique training and learning choreography for performances. 

• ·Additional weekend rehearsals may be held as needed as performances approach, or for solos and small groups.
• All dancers will attend a company audition class to find their level placement. August 10th at DDC - 1-2pm for ages 8-12 and 2:30-3:30 for ages 13-18. 
• Register for the audition online by the specified date!

Each company dancer will pay a fee of $120/month. This fee covers all company rehearsals, costumes, performances, and events for the year.
